학업과 성취에 대한 부담감은 지난 십수년간 나를 거의 한시도 빼놓지 않고 옭아매고 있었고,
이런 만성적인 피로상태가 마치 중력과 같다고 생각했다.('gravity wants to bring me down')

하나의 부담을 없애면, 더 큰 부담이 오고,
마치 나는 더 크고 거대한 부담을 위해 돌진하는 사람같았다.

'keep me where the light is'라 외쳐보지만, 그 light는 구원의 빛일까,
아니면 더 큰 부담이 주는 일그러진 영광의 빛일까.
빛에 다다른다 해도 중력은 계속해서 나를 구속하고 있을 것만 같다.
